The benefits of having a professional portfolio allows for you to put out information that you would like other professionals to know about you. It allows for you to be in control when creating a personal website. Having a portfolio on LinkedIn allows for access to many people that have similar interest or even recruiters. Creating a profile give future employers a better picture of you rather than a typical resume. Some possible cons to having a professional portfolio on LinkedIn is that many people have a profile and its not as original as it use to be due to its growing popularity. Also a profile on LinkedIn does not allow for you to be as creative like making your own personal site where you manage the layout and tabs.

Since I am into basketball and a high school basketball coach, it is always important to know the stats of the game. It is great when you can go to a site and see what the stats were for each player in the game. This particular website http://www.sportstats.com gives a breakdown of the stats for all sports. I of course check out the stats for basketball. On this site you can check the scores and stats for various basketball teams such as NBA and Overseas teams. I have a few friends that still play basketball in other countries so its great to be able to use one site and get all the information that I need.
